This one is mostly for enemy balancing, hopefully should make things a little less unrelenting.
- Reduced the speed and damage of most slimes
- Increased the health of most slimes slightly
- Increased the healing rate of the energy shield
- Radio no longer scans while game is paused
- Added slime spawn reduction if many buildings were destroyed since the last wave
- Lowered target height of flying slimes
- Reduced number of slimes spawned during horde waves
- Increased range of turrets
- Increased vertical range of turrets
- Moved elevators into the platform tab in the build menu
- Messed with audio for enemy hits, elevator, and laser noises to resolve volume issues
- Increased the damage of arc generators
- Increased the stun time for arc generators from .5 seconds to .8 seconds

Oh nice! With this I should definitely give the game another shot. The slimes seemed too strong last time I tried.
might want to undo the health buff even if the slimes are also slower because it kinda defeats the point of making them slower if the extra health lets them reach your buildings just as easily
The intention was to give more time between hits to allow for the lasers to target better and give the arc generators more of a role, I will be tweaking the values a bit more to get a good balance though.

Edit: After playing the game for a few hours, I wanted to ask, are the slime waves additive? As in does the game add more and more endlessly? Cause after 5 hours the game spawns like 40 slimes at the same time and it stars severely dropping frames cause it can't handle the number of slimes (and ofcourse makes the waves insanely difficult to do anything about them even with a whole horizontal land row of defences).
I had specifically made a base of 8 lazers and 2 max lvl ARC with multiple barriers and the sheer number of slimes took down this entire spawn trap base in a handful of seconds.
Is it just when you're trying to making a spawn trap, or are you having trouble with later waves all the time? There is a limit on the slime spawns but it would take quite a while to get to that point.
This definitely happens when I making spawn trap. Thus far I have not tried it to replaying it from the start. The only thing I have from scratch is the cave part which also had a ton of slimes which you stand no chance against since it spawns a ton of them all at once, but luckily after building a structure in the middle part they get stuck underneath trying to reach it forever.
I would say to fix the balance there are two ways of what I am thinking:
Either spawn a bunch of them but have them squishier to kill or have less of them at the health they currently are, but have them spawn 2-5 at a time not all of them at once, so it's like a constant wave for a good 20 or more seconds. Depending on the defences the waves start hard and get easier as the player advances and has better ways of dealing with them.
